You can configure your invoice template to show the total overdue amount on every income invoice PDF. This gives tenants a clear view of their outstanding balance alongside the current invoice, encouraging prompt payment.
How to Enable the Overdue Amount on Invoice PDFs
Navigate to Settings > Invoice Templates.
Select the template you want to edit and click Edit Template.
Under Optional Fields, tick Total Overdue (income only).
Click Save.
How the Overdue Amount is Calculated
The overdue amount displayed on the invoice PDF is calculated at the moment the PDF is generated or emailed. If a tenant makes a payment after an invoice is sent and you then re-download or re-email that invoice, the overdue amount will update automatically to reflect the current outstanding balance.
