When refunding tenancy funds it is possible to allocate part refunds to more than one contact from the tenancy.


To prepare for refunding the funds, first check that the contacts are correctly connected to the tenancy.  There are many contact types to choose from, only Account and Tenant contacts are available when processing the refund.

Each of the contacts who will receive a refund should have banking details added to their Contact record - you can access these via the Tenancy Summary screen links.

Access the tenancy ledger, the fastest way is from the Tenancy Summary page link, then select 'Refund to Tenant' to begin the refund disbursement.  Select from the contacts in the list and enter the amount and description for the refund to that contact, click Process Refund to complete the first disbursement. Repeat this process to disburse refunds to the other tenancy contacts.
