The Contact Exclusion feature in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central lets you control which Customers and Vendors sync into Re-Leased. When the exclusion toggle is enabled on a contact, that record is ignored during sync.
How to Exclude a Customer or Vendor from Syncing
In Business Central, open the Customer Card or Vendor Card for the contact you want to exclude.
Scroll to the bottom of the card.
Set the Re-Leased Syncing Disabled toggle to On.
Once enabled, the Customer or Vendor and all related invoices and credit memos will be excluded from syncing with Re-Leased.
Note: If the toggle is enabled after data has already synced into Re-Leased, that Customer or Vendor and all associated invoices and credit notes will be removed from Re-Leased during the next sync.
How to Set a Default Exclusion for New Customers and Vendors
You can configure Business Central so that all new Customers or Vendors are automatically excluded from syncing by default.
Use the Business Central search bar and search for Re-Leased Setup.
Select Re-Leased Setup from the results.
Configure the following toggles:
Default Exclusion Settings
Default Customer Sync Disabled β set to On to exclude all new Customers from syncing by default.
Default Vendor Sync Disabled β set to On to exclude all new Vendors from syncing by default.
Note: These default settings only apply to new Customers and Vendors created after the setting is enabled. Existing records are not affected.
