Managing Tenant Insurance Policies

How to manage tenant insurance policies in Re-Leased — view expiry status, edit and renew policies, download audit trails, and archive or restore policies from the tenancy record.

Updated this week

You can view, edit, renew, audit, archive, and restore tenant insurance policies directly in Re-Leased. Keeping insurance records up to date ensures tenancies remain compliant and your audit trail is accurate.

Accessing Tenant Insurance Records

  1. Open the tenancy record associated with the policy.

  2. Select the Insurance tab on the left-hand side.

Each policy displays a colour-coded expiry status: red (expired), orange (expiring within 30 days), and green (active). Click the policy number to view full details.

How to Edit or Renew a Policy

  1. Navigate to the policy and click the Contextual Menu [...], then click Edit.

  2. Update the expiry date and any other relevant details.

  3. Click Save.

Note: The policy number is a unique identifier — only change it if there is an error in the original entry.

How to Download an Audit Trail

  1. Navigate to the tenancy and select the Insurance tab.

  2. Click the Contextual Menu [...] next to the relevant policy and select Download audit trail.

  3. The audit trail will be saved to your computer as a PDF.

How to Archive and Restore a Policy

  1. Click the Contextual Menu [...] next to the policy and select Archive.

  2. The policy moves to the Archived Insurance section of the Insurance list.

  3. To restore, click the Contextual Menu [...] on the archived policy and select Restore.
