When Re-Leased is integrated with Sage Intacct, certain data is managed exclusively in Sage Intacct and syncs through to Re-Leased. Understanding which data flows which way helps you know where to make changes and avoid sync issues.
What Moves to Sage Intacct
Once integrated, the following are managed exclusively in Sage Intacct and sync one-way into Re-Leased:
Dimensions — corresponds to Property Tracking in Re-Leased.
Tax Detail — corresponds to Tax Types in Re-Leased.
Accounts — corresponds to Chart of Accounts in Re-Leased.
Sync Direction Summary
Sage Intacct → Re-Leased only: Dimensions, Tax Detail, Accounts.
Two-way sync: Invoices, Credit Notes, Adjustments, Payments, Contacts (creation only).
Contacts
New contacts sync between both platforms when created in either system.
Updates, archiving, and unarchiving must be done in Sage Intacct.
Invoices, Adjustments, and Payments
Invoices and adjustments can be created in either Re-Leased or Sage Intacct, with two-way syncing.
Invoices set to Awaiting Approval in Re-Leased sync to Sage Intacct as Draft Invoices.
Voiding invoices or adjustments must be initiated in Sage Intacct.
Undoing payments is managed in Sage Intacct — deleting a payment in Sage Intacct will not delete it in Re-Leased.
Order Entry and Purchasing Modules
If you use Sage Intacct's Order Entry or Purchasing modules, note the following:
Items are required: Re-Leased chart of accounts sync to Sage Intacct as Items with a [p] (purchasing) or [s] (sales) suffix.
Tax Type must be set to Externally Calculated Tax: Re-Leased relies on Sage Intacct's tax engine and mapping to calculate tax amounts. The calculated tax is returned from Sage Intacct and applied to the Re-Leased invoice during sync.
Important Limitations
One-to-one company link: Each Re-Leased company can only be connected to one Sage Intacct company. This connection is irreversible.
Attachments: Attachments on invoices and adjustments are not synced between systems — they must be uploaded manually to each platform.
