The Re-Leased integration with Oracle NetSuite does not support all NetSuite features. Review these limitations before setup to understand where manual workarounds are needed.
Multi-Currency Items
Contacts and invoices using multiple currencies cannot sync with Re-Leased. To resolve: unlink the affected contacts and invoices from the integration, set those contacts to inactive in NetSuite, then create new contacts in Re-Leased using your local currency.
Subsidiary Management
The integration requires a NetSuite instance capable of handling multiple subsidiaries. If your NetSuite account is single-entity only, the integration will not work.
Invoice PDF Templates
Invoices created in Re-Leased must use Re-Leased invoice PDF templates. NetSuite's invoice PDF formatting is not supported.
Description-Only Lines
Invoices, bills, and credit memos containing description-only lines cannot sync from NetSuite to Re-Leased.
Discount Lines
Discounts on line items are not supported. Any invoice with a discount applied will fail to sync and appear as an error on the Sync Results page. Remove the discount from all line items before syncing.
Bank Deposits
Bank deposits recorded in NetSuite for reconciliation purposes — distinct from tenancy deposits held as liabilities — do not sync. These are treated separately from standard invoice payments.
Intercompany Contacts
The integration does not support syncing intercompany contacts where a vendor in one subsidiary is also a customer in another, due to NetSuite's unique ID requirement.
Invoice Attachments
Attachments linked to invoices do not carry over during synchronisation. Attachments must be added manually in both systems.
Archiving Contacts
Contacts cannot be archived directly in Re-Leased when integrated with NetSuite. Archive the contact in NetSuite — at the next sync, the corresponding Re-Leased contact will also be archived.
Awaiting Approval Invoices and Credit Notes
Invoices and credit notes with an Awaiting Approval status do not sync between Re-Leased and NetSuite in either direction. Approve the transaction in Re-Leased first — it will then be included in the next sync.
In North America, "Tenancies" are referred to as "Leases". For more information on regional terminology, see our Glossary of Regional Terminology.
