Managing the Late Fees Hub

How to manage calculated late fees in Re-Leased's Late Fees Hub — reviewing pending fees, generating invoices, viewing invoice details, and handling waived fees.

The Late Fees Hub is your central location for managing calculated late fees — from reviewing fees awaiting approval through to generating invoices and handling waivers. For information on setting up late fee rules, see Creating Late Fee Rules.


Accessing the Late Fees Hub

Navigate to the Dashboard and click on the Late Fees Hub.


Viewing Pending Approval Late Fees

The Pending Approval view shows all calculated late fees waiting for your review. From here you can browse fees individually or select multiple at once, generate invoices or waive fees, and review the late invoice, outstanding amount, and fee due for each item.


Generating Invoices for Late Fees

  1. Select the fees you wish to invoice.

  2. Click Generate Invoice(s) to move them to the Invoiced tab.

Understanding the Invoiced Late Fee View

  1. Select and send invoices for individual or multiple late fees.

  2. Review the late fee invoice number, amount, date invoiced, and current status of each fee.

Viewing Late Fee Invoice Details

  1. Select a late fee invoice from the Invoiced tab.

  2. Review descriptions and individual line items that outline the fees sent to tenants.

  3. Click Download as PDF to view the invoice as sent to tenants.

Handling Waived Late Fees

The Waived view provides a record of all waived late fees, showing the associated invoice, the Chart of Accounts where the fee was categorised, and the date, person, and amount waived.
