  • Updated

This article provides steps on connecting your Re-Leased company to a Sage Intacct company. The integration allows for a seamless transfer of financial data between the two platforms. Let's ensure you can confidently establish and maintain this critical connection.

Prior to Connecting

Before you proceed with the connection, it's essential to set up in Sage Intacct:

Connecting Your Company

To begin the integration process:

  1. Select your company to sync with Sage Intacct from the drop-down menu on the Settings page.
  2. Scroll down and select Manage Add-ons and Integrations.

Your Sage Intacct status will indicate whether the integration is not yet connected.

Establishing the Connection

To connect to Sage Intacct:

  1. Click on Connect to Sage Intacct.
  2. Review the explanations of what data will be synced between Re-Leased and Sage Intacct.
  3. Ensure that the necessary prerequisites have been met within Sage Intacct. This involves specific Sage Intacct configurations. Instructions for what to do in Sage Intacct will be shown in several separate steps on screen, and can also be seen in this article.

Onboarding and Matching Process

During onboarding, there may need to be a matching of various elements (only if pre-existing accounting or contact data is present in Re-Leased before connecting to Sage Intacct):

  • Tax Type Matching - If there are tax types in Re-Leased that cannot be auto-matched to those in Sage Intacct, you'll have to either archive the tax rate, rendering it unusable, or attempt to match it to an existing rate in Sage Intacct using the dropdown selector on screen. Note each Sage Intacct rate can be used only once.
  • Account Matching - The same matching process is applicable for Accounts; they can either be archived or matched to a corresponding account in Sage Intacct, with each account only being used once for matching.
  • Tracking Option Matching - Confirm your Tracking Options by archiving or matching them to Sage Intacct equivalents, just as with Tax Types and Accounts.
  • Contact Matching - For Contacts in Re-Leased not present in Sage Intacct, choose between creating a new contact in Sage Intacct as a new Customer or Vendor, matching to an existing Sage Intacct contact, or archiving in Re-Leased. Each contact in Sage Intacct may only be affiliated with one Re-Leased contact.
  • Once all elements are matched or archived, select Continue until you're prompted to confirm. This will kickstart the initial sync, which might take some time depending on the volume of data.

You're now ready to work while the background sync completes. A notification, such as a blue flag, will indicate when the sync is finished.

By completing these steps, you'll establish a 1:1 connection between your Re-Leased and Sage Intacct companies, ensuring a smooth flow of financial data.
