This article will help you navigate and manage your own user preferences and account settings. We’ll cover everything from updating your contact details, managing your To-Do List notifications, setting advanced security options, to viewing your login history. By the end of this guide, you will be familiar with the steps needed for maintaining control over your user experience and account security.
How to Access User Preferences
To quickly access your settings:
- Click on your initials or avatar located on the top black menu bar.
- Select My Account from the [+] Quick Links menu.
Alternatively, if you have permissions to manage other users:
- Go to the Settings menu.
- Click Users.
- Select the link to your user profile.
My Account Screen Features
Your User Account screen is the command center for personal settings:
- View and re-assign your Managed Properties and Delegated Tasks in bulk.
- Update personal information for mail merges.
- Personalize your Avatar image.
- Opt-in as a Property Manager to manage properties.
- Set a default Home Page
- Customize To-Do List email notifications.
- Set advanced notifications for Calendar Events.
- Tailor your views of the Arrears hub.
- Finalize changes by clicking Save.
Note: Changing your email will update your login username to the new address. The User Role defines your access—administrators have full privileges. To maintain security, consider Single Session Mode and Manage Two-Factor Authentication Methods.
Default Home Page
Choose a default Home page so that each time you log in, you'll be directed to this option:
To-Do List & Advance Notification Preferences
Manage how you receive To-Do List emails:
- Daily To-Do emails for immediate tasks.
- Advance To-Do lists based on your advance notification settings for each event type.
- Overdue To-Do lists for tasks needing urgent attention.
- Advance Notification settings also influence dashboard calendar alerts. Customize your advance notices from the dropdown options provided for each event.
Managed Properties and Delegated Tasks Tabs

Changing Your Password
For security, regularly update your password:
- Click on Change Password.
- Enter your existing password, then your new password twice.
- Ensure the new password is at least 8 characters, including one letter and one number.
Security and Login History
Enhance your account's security with Two-Factor Authentication and review the last five login attempts; any issues are highlighted in red. You can also view your full login history if you suspect unauthorized access.
