Users in the Asia-Pacific and Europe commonly use the terms "Arrears" and "Tenants," whereas in North America, "Delinquency" and "Leases" are preferred. In this guide, we’ll be using "Arrears" and "Tenants" to maintain consistency. For more information on regional terminology, please refer to our Glossary of Regional Terminology.

Mastering your Calendar in Re-Leased helps keep you on top of your property management tasks and events. This article provides an overview of the Calendar features available on your dashboard, helping you manage scheduled tasks with precision and ease. Whether you're tracking tasks for properties you manage or overseeing the tasks of your team, understanding the information your Calendar provides is key to seamless property management.

Understanding My Calendar

Your My Calendar, prominently displayed on your dashboard, is personalized to show events for all properties you manage, as well as any task or events assigned to you. It is designed to give you a quick and efficient overview of your upcoming responsibilities, ensuring that you're always prepared for what's ahead.

Exploring the Global Calendar

For broader oversight, the Global Calendar feature allows visibility into the tasks and events managed by other users in your company. This is especially helpful for teams, ensuring everyone is aligned and up-to-date. Here's how you can optimize this tool:

  1. You can filter the Global Calendar to see only the activities of certain users, tailoring it to your specific needs.
  2. Events logged in Re-Leased will automatically populate to your Calendar. Tailor what appears by using the checkboxes at the bottom of the Calendar to include or exclude specific types of events or tasks.

Selecting Users to view the Global Calendar for:

To add or remove other User's Calendars:

  • Add a User - Click in the box and a list of names will be shown
  • Remove a User - Click the X next to a name and it will be removed
  • See All Users - Click Include All
  • Remove All Users - Click Clear

Click on the Refresh Calendar button to update the Calendar with your new users.

If you’re seeing too much information in the Calendar, just uncheck the boxes at the bottom of the page to turn off each item. Tick the box again to add it back in.

Viewing Details and Editing Calendar Items

You have the power to view or edit any item directly from your Calendar. For example, if you click on an Inspection Due item, you will be presented with options such as:

  • Marking the inspection as complete directly through the Calendar.
  • Viewing, Editing, or Completing the inspection through the associated property or lease/tenancy.

Item Status Indicators

Each Calendar item is marked with an intuitive status indicator to inform you of its timeline:

  • Items scheduled for the future will not have a status indicator, signaling that they are upcoming. For future events, keep an eye on the Calendar or Future Events Notification for updates.
  • Overdue items will be flagged with an exclamation mark '!' and will appear on the Today's To-Do list when due, before moving to the Overdue To-Do list once the due date has passed. The exclamation mark persists until the task is completed.
  • Completed items will be marked with a checkmark, signifying that the task has been successfully accomplished.

Now that you understand the robust features of your Re-Leased Calendar, you're set to manage your property-related tasks more effectively. Remember, the Calendar is an invaluable tool to streamline your day-to-day operations and keep your property management duties in check.
