Using tags with compliance

Tags are a powerful tool that can help you create custom statuses on your compliance records - so that you can easily organize and prioritize your workflow. Whether you're a seasoned property manager or just starting out, understanding how to leverage tags effectively can streamline your workflows and enhance your overall productivity.

An example of a tag that you could create could be Asbestos Present - if you need to track which of the Asbestos compliances found traces of asbestos present.

Creating and Assigning Tags

To create and assign tags for compliance jobs:

  1. Navigate to the compliance you want to tag.

  2. Click on the Add Tag button, then type your desired tag(s) into the field. You can add multiple tags to each task.

  3. Tags are saved automatically to the task.

Searching and Filtering with Tags

  1. On the Compliance Hub, locate the Tags dropdown above the table

  2. Select the tag you are looking for, or start typing to search for a tag.

  3. The system will now filter the list down to all compliance records associated with that tag.

Best Practices for Tag Usage

Here are a few tips for creating an effective tagging system:

  • Be consistent: Use a consistent naming convention for tags to avoid duplicates and confusion.

  • Keep it simple: Tags should be easy to remember and descriptive enough to convey the necessary information at a glance.

  • Categorize wisely: Create tags that reflect categories meaningful to your operations such

 

By effectively using tags, you will be able to streamline the process of managing compliance, ensuring that critical jobs are attended promptly, and no detail goes unnoticed.
