Creating a Rent Review Increase Notice Using Forms & Agreements

Need to inform your tenants about a rent increase after a rent review? This article will guide you through the process of creating and sending a formal Rent Review Increase Notice using the Forms & Agreements Templates.


Accessing the Forms & Agreements Feature

To create a templre for the Rent Review Increase Notice:

 

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Locate and select Templates.
  3. Click the Forms and Agreements Tab.
  4. Click on Create Form/Agreement Template.


Setting Up Your Template

With the template editor open:

  1. Provide a descriptive title for your notice in the title field.
  2. Decide if you want to include header and footers by toggling the respective option.
  3. Auto-populate your notice with specific tenant and rent review data using merge fields. Click on the Merge Fields option from the top right corner of the editor.
  4. Select from categories such as contacts, properties/areas, and rent review details to include relevant data.
  5. Insert these fields into your template where you want the specific information to appear.

Finalizing & Sending the Notice

Once you've input all necessary details and merge fields into your Rent Review Increase Notice:

  1. Review your template for accuracy and completeness. Use the Preview button for assistance. 
  2. Save the template.
  3. To send the notice to a tenant, perform a rent review for the relevant tenancy.
  4. Once completed, the option to send this template will become available.
