What is the Deposit Management Feature?
The Deposit Management feature in our property management platform allows you to efficiently track, protect, and manage tenant deposits for all your properties. This comprehensive solution helps you stay compliant with deposit protection regulations while simplifying the entire deposit lifecycle from collection to refund.
Getting Started
To begin using the Deposit Management feature:
- Navigate to the Deposits section under Property Management in the main navigation menu
- Review any existing deposits or create a new deposit record
- Protect deposits through integrated schemes
- Use the deposit detail view to manage the complete deposit lifecycle
Accessing the Deposits Dashboard
The Deposits dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of all deposits across your portfolio. From here you can view the list of all deposits with key information including:
- Reference
- Property
- Tenancy
- Interest beneficiary
- Interest accrued
- Agreed amount
Filtering and Searching Deposits
To find specific deposits:
- Use the search bar at the top of the Deposits page to search by reference
- Use dropdown filters to narrow results by:
- Property: Select specific properties from your portfolio
- Tenancy: Filter by tenant name or tenancy reference
- Interest beneficiary: Filter by who receives any interest (All, Tenant, Landlord, Agent)
Deposit Details View
To view complete information about a specific deposit:
- Click on the deposit reference from the main Deposits list
- The deposit details page displays:
- Deposit summary information
- Deposit requests and payment status
- Protection status and scheme details
- Deductibles with amounts and reasons
- Interest calculations and accrual history
- Refunds/transfers history
Setting Display Preferences
Customize your view of the deposits list:
- Use the "Rows per page" dropdown (bottom right) to adjust how many deposits display per page
- Navigate between pages using pagination controls
