How to Integrate with TDS and SDS

This guide walks you through the process of setting up integrations with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) and Safe Deposits Scotland (SDS) in your property management system.

The integration with these deposit protection schemes allows you to manage tenancy deposits directly through your property management software, saving time and reducing errors in the deposit registration process.

 

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Access the Integrations Section

  • Navigate to your system settings
  • Locate the "Add-Ons & Integrations" section and select the "Manage Integrations & Add-ons" link 

2. View Available Add-ons

After clicking "Manage Integrations & Add-ons," you'll be taken to the Add-ons page where you can see all available integrations, scroll down to see the following deposit integrations:

  • Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS)
  • Safe Deposits Scotland (SDS) 

3. Enable the Deposit Scheme Integrations

For Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS):

  1. Locate the "Tenancy Deposit Scheme" panel
  2. Click "View details"
  3. Review the integration information
  4. Click the "Enable" button
  5. Follow the authentication prompts to connect your TDS account

For Safe Deposits Scotland (SDS):

  1. Locate the "Safe Deposits Scotland" panel
  2. Click "View details"
  3. Review the integration information
  4. Click the "Enable" button
  5. Follow the authentication prompts to connect your SDS account
