Removing Calendar Items from the Dashboard

How to remove or complete calendar items in Re-Leased — reconcile invoices to clear Rent Due events, update tenancy terms to remove Term Expiry warnings, and mark calendar items complete from the Calendar.

Updated over a week ago

Calendar items in Re-Leased are removed or completed in different ways depending on their type. This article explains how to clear Rent Due items, address Term Expiry warnings, and mark other calendar events as complete.

Removing Rent Due and Final Rent Notices

  1. Go to the invoice associated with the Rent Due event.

  2. Reconcile any funds received against the invoice.

  3. Once the payment matches the invoice amount, the calendar event automatically updates as completed.

Updating Term Expiry Warnings

  1. Navigate to the Terms & Breaks tab within the tenancy.

  2. Choose to extend, renew, or create a Rolling Term — or cancel the term if the tenancy is ending.

  3. Updating the tenancy term removes the expiry warning from the Calendar.

Completing Calendar Items

Maintenance and inspection dues, term expiries, and lease breaks can be marked complete directly from the Calendar.

  1. Click the calendar event you want to complete.

  2. Enter the Completed On Date.

  3. Click Mark As Complete and add any notes if needed.

A checkmark will appear next to the completed item once saved.

Note: Updating events through tasks or tenancy terms may require additional steps depending on the event type.

In North America, "Tenancies" are referred to as "Leases" and "Terms & Breaks" as "Terms & Options". For more information on regional terminology, see our Glossary of Regional Terminology.
