Managing Bank Account Detail Permissions

How to manage bank account detail change notifications in Re-Leased — enable or disable sensitive notifications per user so designated team members are alerted by email whenever creditor bank account details are added or changed.

Updated over a week ago

You can configure which users receive email notifications when bank account details are changed for creditors in Re-Leased's Client/Trust Accounting. This helps prevent unauthorised or fraudulent changes to disbursement accounts.

How Notifications Work

Notifications are permission-based and managed individually per user. Only users with the Settings > User can manage other users permission can modify notification settings for others. Each user can also manage their own settings.

When enabled, the user receives an email alert whenever bank account details are added or changed for a contact. The email sender will appear as the user who made the change, enabling direct follow-up.

How to Enable or Disable Sensitive Notifications

  1. Navigate to Settings > Users.

  2. Select the user to manage.

  3. Locate Notification Permissions in the user's profile.

  4. Check or uncheck User will receive sensitive change notifications.
