Managing Dashboard Access for Insights Users

How to manage dashboard access for Insights users in Re-Leased — create user roles with specific Insights permissions, view current role access levels, and adjust existing roles to control which dashboards each user can see.

Updated over a week ago

As an Insights admin, you can control which dashboards individual users or groups can access. Permissions are managed through User Roles in Re-Leased Settings.

Creating a New User Role with Dashboard Access

  1. Navigate to Settings via the Triple Bar [≡].

  2. Select Maintain User Roles under Company & Users.

  3. Click Create New User Role.

  4. Define the dashboard access level for this role.

  5. Click Save User Role.

Viewing Current Role Permissions

  1. Navigate to Settings > Maintain User Roles.

  2. Click the downward arrow on the right of any role to expand it and view detailed access levels.

Adjusting an Existing User Role's Insights Access

  1. Navigate to Settings > Maintain User Roles.

  2. Select the role and expand the Insights Permissions section.

  3. Modify the dashboard access as required.

  4. Click Save User Role. Changes take effect on the user's next login.

Note: You may see dashboards in the permission settings that are not part of your current Re-Leased subscription. Toggling these on or off will not affect the list of dashboards actually visible to users.
