Payment Requests are available for UK commercial property managers using a Client Account. They instruct tenants to make a payment but are not VAT invoices — VAT liability only arises when a VAT invoice is issued after payment is received.
Prerequisites: You must be a UK customer (excluding Jersey), have a Client Account, and the property must be commercial or mixed-use with VAT Elected status.
Enabling Payment Requests for a Property
Navigate to the property's Property Details page.
Ensure the VAT Elected setting is set to VAT.
Enable Payment Requests within the property settings.
Note: Only one Payment Request template is currently available and it cannot be modified.
