Correspondence templates control the format and content of emails and letters sent from Re-Leased. Templates are shared across all your companies; headers and footers can be customised per company for separate branding.
How to Access Correspondence Templates
Navigate to Settings > Communications > Templates.
How to Create a New Template
Click Create a new correspondence template.
Select a template type — this determines where the template can be used and which merge fields are available.
Enter the Title (shown in selection lists), Subject (email subject line), and message body.
Use the toolbar to format the body and insert Merge Fields to personalise content.
Click Preview to check the layout using sample data, then Save.
Click a template title to edit it. Use the Archive option to deactivate templates no longer needed.
Template Types
General Template — sending emails from a contact file or to groups from the Contacts page.
Inspection Notice Template — used for Inspection Notice Rules, sent via Dashboard.
Outgoings Invoice Template — automatically emailed with an invoice from an Outgoings Template.
Owners Statement Template — for landlord statement emails (Client/Trust Accounting).
Quote Request Template — for sending quote requests with an online quote link.
Remittance Advice Template — for creditor remittance advice emails (Client/Trust Accounting).
Arrears Templates — for overdue invoice notifications from the Arrears hub.
Rent Invoice Template — for automatically emailed rent invoices.
Repeating Invoice Template — used when a repeating invoice is emailed automatically.
Work Order Template — for work order emails.

Current Date, Company Address, Company Name, Contact Address, Contact Email, Contact First/Last/Full Name, Contact Mobile, Contact Telephone, Sender Contact Mobile/Phone/Email/First/Last Name, Work Order Disclaimer.
Remittance
Invoice Number, Payment Total.
Quote Requests

Inspection Notices
