Once a Budget by Area has been created in Re-Leased, you can view and manage it across four tabs — Summary, Details, Owner Contribution, and Reports. The toolbar options available change depending on whether the budget is in draft or approved status.
Budget Toolbar Options

Edit Tenancy Concessions — update concessions including caps, collars, fixed amounts, and percentage of rent.
Manage Budget Areas — adjust areas included or excluded in the budget.
Create Schedule — add new schedules to the budget.
Approve Budget — begin the budget approval process.
Approved budget options
View Details — view initial budget details.
View Tenancy Concessions — view concessions specific to each tenancy.
Modify — return an approved budget to draft status.
Roll Over — copy this budget to the next consecutive period.
Lock / Unlock — lock or unlock invoices in preparation for reconciliation.
Reconcile — begin the budget reconciliation process (only available after locking).
The option to Archive the budget is available at the bottom of the page.
Summary Tab
The Summary tab gives a snapshot of the budget, including schedules, accounts, budgeted cost, and allocated percentage. Schedules can be expanded and collapsed using the arrows on the right-hand side.
Details Tab
The Details tab expands on individual budget items, allowing you to toggle between percentage and amount allocations, access and edit tenancy details, modify budget schedules, and change the display of budget allocations.
Owner Contribution Tab
The Owner Contribution tab highlights the owner's potential financial responsibilities arising from concession shortfalls, vacant areas, and unaccounted allocations. If no liabilities exist, the contribution will display as $0.
Reports Tab
The Reports tab provides access to budget reports. Additional reports become available once the budget is approved.
Budget terminology varies by region — Asia-Pacific customers will see "Budgeted Outgoings", European customers will see "Service Charge", and North American customers will see "Operating Expenses". For more information on regional terminology, see our Glossary of Regional Terminology.
