The Budgets Hub is currently available in Open Beta. You can self-enrol, and also leave us feedback, via the Available Betas page under the ? menu.
How to Access the Budgets Hub
Select Property Management from the top navigation bar.
Choose Budgets.
The hub loads all budgets you have access to across your portfolio.
Understanding the Status Summary Cards
At the top of the page, four summary cards show a breakdown of your budgets by status:
Draft — budgets still being prepared
Approved — budgets that have been approved and are active
Locked — budgets that are locked for the period
Reconciled — budgets where reconciliation is complete
Each card displays the count of budgets in that status and the total budgeted amount. Click any card to filter the table to show only budgets with that status. Click the card again to clear the filter.
How to Filter and Search Budgets
Use the filter bar above the table to narrow your view:
Companies — filter by company (if you manage budgets across multiple companies)
Property Group — filter by property group
Status — filter by budget status (Draft, Approved, Locked, or Reconciled)
Search — free-text search across budget names and properties
Your filter selections are remembered between visits, so you can pick up where you left off.
What Each Column in the Budget Table Shows
The table displays all budgets matching your current filters. Each row shows:
Budget — the budget name (click to go directly to the budget detail page)
Property — the associated property (click to go to the property page)
Property Group — the property group, if assigned
Property Manager — the manager responsible for the property
Budget Start Date — the date the budget period begins
Budget End Date — the date the budget period ends
Status — a colour-coded chip showing the budget status
Total Budgeted — the total budgeted amount
Expense to Schedule — shows a count badge if there are expense line items not yet allocated to a schedule. A dash (–) means all allocations are complete.
Income to Area — shows a count badge if there are tenancies with incomplete income-to-area allocations. A dash (–) means all allocations are complete.
Click any column header to sort the table by that column. Click again to reverse the sort order. The Budget Start Date column sorts by most recent first by default.
How to Spot Outstanding Allocations
The Expense to Schedule and Income to Area columns help you quickly identify budgets that need attention. When a budget has outstanding allocations, a count badge shows how many items remain. This lets you prioritize which budgets to review without opening each one individually.
How to Open a Budget From the Hub
Click the budget name in the Budget column to go directly to the budget detail page.
Alternatively, click the vertical ellipsis menu (⋮) on any row, then select View budget.
You can also click a property name in the Property column to navigate to that property's page.
Budgets Hub Access and Permissions
The Budgets Hub respects property-level access control. You will only see budgets for properties you have permission to view.
If you expect to see a budget that is not appearing, check your property access settings with your administrator.
For Asia-Pacific customers, Tenancy is used in place of Lease, and Budgeted Outgoings is used in place of Service Charge. For more information on regional terminology, see ourGlossary of Regional Terminology.
