The Outgoings Budget / Service Charge Details Report breaks down budgeted cost distributions across accounts and tenancies for a selected property and budget period.
How to Access the Report
Navigate to Reporting from the main menu.
Select General.
Under Budgets by Tenancy / Lease, choose Outgoings Budget / Service Charge Details.
Filters
Report For — single company or all companies.
Property — a single property or all managed properties.
Budget Status — Draft, Approved, Reconciled, or all statuses.
For the Budget — a single budget for the chosen property, or all budgets. Disabled when Budget Status is active.
Type of Property — specific property types (not available when a specific property is already selected).
Show Budget Notes — include budget notes in the report for added context.
Understanding the Report
The report maps each account in the budget against the proportion of charges allocated to each tenancy. Key columns to note:
Caps and Collars — displays maximum or minimum charge limits for tenancies and how they affect allocations.
Adjusted Allocation — the final adjusted charge for each tenancy after applying any charge limitations.
In Asia-Pacific, "Outgoings" is standard; European customers use "Service Charge"; North American customers may see "Operating Expenses". Terminology in the app adjusts by region. For more information, see our Glossary of Regional Terminology.
