The Outgoings Budget / Service Charge Summary Report provides a schedule-level view of your property's budget, with variance analysis between budget estimates and actual or comparative figures.


How to Access the Report

  1. Navigate to Reporting > General Reports.

  2. Under Budgets by Area, select Outgoings Budget / Service Charge Summary Report.

  3. Alternatively, access the report from the Reports tab within the budget.

Filters and Options

  1. Report For — set the scope (company).

  2. Property to Include — focus on a specific property.

  3. For the Budget — select the budget year or version.

  4. Show Breakdown by Cost Classification — organise expenses into categories.

  5. Show Budget Allocations — view detailed fund distribution.

  6. Show Budget Notes — include annotations on budget entries.

  7. Show the Variance — highlight discrepancies between budget and actual expenses.

  8. Chart of Account codes — add expense coding for clarity.

  9. Up to two budgets to compare — compare two different budget versions side by side.

What the Report Shows

  • A comprehensive view of each budget schedule with expenses and planned costs by account.

  • Variance columns (when enabled) for straightforward comparisons between budget and actuals.
