The Payments Hub serves as your central location for tracking online payments made by tenants, providing comprehensive payment details and status updates. This article will guide you through accessing the Payments Hub and interpreting the information available, ensuring you can manage your payments with ease.
Accessing the Payments Hub
Entering the Payments Hub is straightforward. Once you've started setting up your Re-Leased Pay account, you can access the hub in the following ways:
- Through the Re-Leased Pay Account Settings, by selecting Payments Hub.
- Directly from the Income & Expenses page.
Understanding Payments Hub Information
The Payments Hub will display a list of all tenant payments with several pertinent details:
- Date of the payment
- Clickable invoice number which opens up the concerned invoice
- Name of the contact to whom the invoice was issued
- Related property information from the invoice
- Payment method utilized
- Amount paid by the tenant towards the invoice
- Current status of the payment
Payment Statuses
When examining payments, you'll notice different status labels that inform you of each payment's processing phase:
- Processing - The tenant's online payment attempt is successful.
- Paid Out - Funds have been transferred to your bank account, which typically takes up to 24 hours.
- Payout Failed - The transfer to your bank account has not succeeded. Expect an email notification detailing the issue.
- Reversed - The payment has been cancelled within Re-Leased or in your accounting software.
- Payment Failed - This status is specific to direct debit issues when payment cannot be acquired from the tenant's bank account.
Additional Payment Hub Features
Besides viewing individual payment details, the Payments Hub also allows you to:
- Analyze your Payouts in detail.
- Swiftly return to the Re-Leased Pay Settings by selecting Account Settings.
To maintain seamless financial management:
- Regularly check the Payments Hub to stay updated on the payment statuses.
- Utilize the filtering options to sort payments by status, date, or property for more efficient oversight.
