How to Unlock a Locked Account

Re-Leased locks accounts after five failed sign-in attempts. An Administrator in the same organisation can unlock accounts via Settings > Users: locate the locked user, click the Email icon, confirm the email address, optionally add a message, and click Send.

Note: Re-Leased Support can only unlock accounts for single-user organisations. For organisations with multiple users, an Administrator must carry out the unlock.

Security and Billing

Re-Leased Security with Microsoft Azure

Re-Leased uses the Microsoft Azure cloud platform for security and data protection, with real-time data replication across multiple global data centres, cryptographic protection, software security patch management, and network segmentation. See the Microsoft Azure Security Overview for full technical details.

Maximum Tenancies Reached

Your Re-Leased subscription tier is based on the number of active tenancies — those with a status of Current, Future, or Expired. To manage your count, go to Leases/Tenancies and cancel, vacate, or archive any expired tenancies that are no longer needed.

Properties and Tenancies

How to Record Tenancy Insurance

Insurance policies are entered on the related property record. There are two methods:

  1. Create a Tenancy Insurance type and enter the new policy details.

  2. List the Tenancy Contact as an Insurance Broker on the new insurance policy.

Both methods require: policy number, renewal dates, premium, excess, cover amount, and responsible member.

Can I Move a Property to a Different Company?

Properties cannot be directly transferred between companies. You need to set up the property again under the new company, including related tenancies and tasks. The original property record can be archived.

Logo, Templates, and Communication

Logo and Banner Size Requirements

Images are automatically resized. Recommended sizes are: Logo — 1:1 ratio (square); Banner — 1000×150 pixels; Landlord Portal Logo — 1000×200 pixels.

How to Automatically Email Rent Invoices

Enable and approve the Invoice Generator in your company settings. This automates the emailing of rent invoices to tenancy contacts.

In North America, "Tenancies" are referred to as "Leases" and "Outgoings" as "Operating Expenses" or "Service Charges". For more information on regional terminology, see our Glossary of Regional Terminology.
