Updated over a week ago

Archiving a property removes it from your active list while retaining all records. Archived properties can be restored at any time.

How to Archive a Property

Before archiving, remove any unwanted ledgers from the property.

  1. Navigate to the property and click the Ledgers tab.

  2. Click Add/Remove Ledgers and click the × to remove unwanted ledgers.

  3. Select Property Details from the left-hand menu.

  4. Click Archive at the bottom left of the screen.

When archiving, select a Reason for Archiving from the dropdown (Sold or Other) and add optional comments. This information feeds the Sold Property List Report.

Note: Archiving a property does not archive or void associated data such as outstanding invoices or contacts — these must be addressed separately.

Viewing Archived Properties

  1. Go to Properties and click Filters.

  2. Set State to Archived and click Apply Filters.

Archived property data is read-only. Use the magnifying glass icon to preview a property summary.

Restoring an Archived Property

  1. Filter the Properties list to show Archived properties (as above).

  2. Click the three-dot menu next to the property and select Restore.

Note: If tenancies were not correctly vacated before archiving, restoring the property may trigger rent invoice generation. Review Tenancy Terms & Breaks and Invoices & Credits immediately after restoring.
