How to set up Inspection Notice Rules in Re-Leased — create automated notice rules with timeframe, delivery method, and template settings so dashboard reminders trigger at the right time before each inspection.

Inspection Notice Rules automate your inspection notice workflow. When configured, Re-Leased generates a dashboard reminder when it's time to send notices, and dispatches them using your specified templates and delivery method.

Note: Before creating notice rules, ensure your inspection notice correspondence and text message templates are already set up.


Creating an Inspection Notice Rule

  1. Navigate to Settings > Communications > Inspection Notice Rules.

  2. Click Create New Inspection Notice Rule.

  3. Fill in the rule details:

    • Title — a descriptive name for easy identification.

    • Actions — the timeframe in which notices should be sent prior to the inspection date.

    • Delivery — choose email, post, or text message.

    • Template — associate the relevant template for each notice step.

    • Default — optionally set this as the default rule for the company. The default rule triggers dashboard reminders to send notices.

  4. Click Save Inspection Notice Rule.
