Performing a Sync Between QuickBooks Online and Re-Leased

How to perform a sync between QuickBooks Online and Re-Leased — understand automatic, on-demand, and manual sync options, find the Sync From Date in integration settings, and interpret blue, orange, and red sync status flags.

Updated over a week ago

Re-Leased and QuickBooks Online sync automatically every hour during business hours and once overnight. You can also trigger a sync on-demand or manually at any time.

How Syncing Works

  • Automatic sync — runs once per hour during business hours and once overnight. No manual action needed.

  • On-demand sync — triggered automatically whenever an invoice or credit note is created or edited in Re-Leased.

  • Manual sync — you can trigger a sync at any time using one of three methods:

  1. Click the bell/sync icon from the Quick Links menu and select Start Sync.

  2. Go to the Sync Results Page and click Sync.

  3. Navigate to Settings > Manage Integrations & Add-ons > QuickBooks Online > View Details and click Sync.

During a sync, a spinning circle appears next to the search bar. Click it to see which entities are currently syncing.

Finding the Sync From Date

  1. Navigate to Settings > Manage Integrations & Add-ons.

  2. Select the QuickBooks Online logo to open the integration status page.

The Sync From Date shows the earliest point from which financial data has been sent to QBO.

Sync Status Flags

  • Blue flag — sync completed successfully with no errors.

  • Orange flag — sync found an error but is still in progress. Click the error message to view details and resolve it while the sync continues.

  • Red flag — sync finished with errors requiring attention.

Click View Sync Results to open the Sync Results page where errors can be addressed or records unlinked.
