Using Tags with Compliance

How to use tags with compliance records in Re-Leased — create and assign tags, filter the Compliance Hub by tag, and best practices for building an effective tagging system.

Updated this week

Tags let you create custom statuses on compliance records so you can organise and filter your workflow in the Compliance Hub. For example, you could create a tag called Asbestos Present to track which compliance records found traces of asbestos.

How to Create and Assign Tags

  1. Navigate to the compliance record you want to tag.

  2. Click Add Tag, then type the tag name into the field. You can add multiple tags to each record.

  3. Tags are saved automatically.

How to Search and Filter by Tags

  1. In the Compliance Hub, locate the Tags dropdown above the table.

  2. Select a tag, or start typing to search for one.

  3. The list will filter to show only compliance records associated with that tag.

Best Practices for Tags

  • Be consistent — use a consistent naming convention to avoid duplicates.

  • Keep it simple — tags should be easy to remember and descriptive at a glance.

  • Categorise meaningfully — create tags that reflect categories relevant to your operations.
