Top-Level Syncing for Sage Intacct

How to configure Top-Level syncing for the Sage Intacct integration in Re-Leased — enable during initial setup or update it on an existing connection to control whether transactions sync at organisation level or entity level.

Updated over a week ago

Top-Level syncing controls where Re-Leased transactions — such as customers, vendors, invoices, and credit notes — are recorded in Sage Intacct. When enabled, all transactions sync to the top level of your organisation rather than to individual entities.

When to Use Top-Level Syncing

Enable Top-Level syncing if your Sage Intacct instance uses top-level accounting rather than entity-level accounting, or if your accounting team manages finances centrally.

Keep it disabled if you use Sage Intacct's multi-entity features and need transactions to sync to specific entities, or if your organisation requires detailed entity-level financial reporting.

How to Enable Top-Level Syncing — New Sage Intacct Connections

  1. Navigate through the integration setup: Settings > Manage Add-ons and Integrations. See How to Connect Re-Leased to Sage Intacct for full setup guidance.

  2. On the Settings screen, locate the Top-Level syncing toggle.

  3. Toggle it on if you want transactions to sync at the organisational level.

  4. Continue through the remaining setup steps: Tax Types, Chart of Accounts, Dimension Categories, Dimensions, Contacts, and confirmation.

  3. Locate the Sage Intacct integration tile and click View Details.
