You can add a new property to Re-Leased using the Quick Links menu or directly from the Properties page. The setup wizard walks you through address details, owner ledger information, property areas, and additional resources.

If the property belongs to an Owner Group with multiple individuals receiving payment shares, set up the Owner Group first. See Setting Up an Owner Group.
How to Add a New Property
Option 1 — Quick Links: Click + from the Quick Links menu and select New Property under Properties & Tenancies.
Option 2 — Main Menu: Navigate to Properties and click + New Property. To add multiple properties at once, use Import Properties via the three-dot menu.
Step 1: Property Details
Use Google Maps search to auto-populate the address, or enter it manually.
Select the Property Manager — they will receive all default dashboard notifications for this property.
Choose a Usage Type — this determines the additional steps in the wizard.
Select the Type of Property (e.g. Commercial, Retail, Hospitality). Add custom types if needed.
Set the Anniversary Date for Management Agreement renewal tracking, or leave blank if not applicable.
Click Next.
Step 2: Owner Ledger Details
Enter the Owner Name to auto-create a contact and Ledger Title.
Choose a Payment Method and enter banking details.
Specify Payment Particulars, Code (NZ only), and Reference for owner statement clarity.
Select the Owner Statement Type from the Disbursements section.
Confirm the Account for Owner Disbursement.
Set an Expenditure Limit for maintenance tasks requiring authorisation.
Choose delivery method for Owner Statements.
Select applicable Disbursement Profiles.
Click Next.
Step 3: Property Areas
Define the areas within the property. For commercial properties, add space titles, size, and area type. Non-commercial areas do not require size or rent details. Add carpark spaces if relevant.
Step 4: Additional Details and Resources
Add further property details (mixed or residential usage) and optional resources including insurance policies, title information, valuations, key management, and documents.
Step 5: Images
Upload marketing and other images, setting a primary image for easy identification within the system.
Finalising
Review the property fee rules and view the property record to make any necessary adjustments. Ensure the setup aligns with the agreements made with landlords.
