Managing Maintenance Requests via the Tenancy App

How to manage maintenance requests from the Tenancy App or Fixflo in Re-Leased — review requested maintenance in the Maintenance Hub, approve or decline requests, email tenants on decline, and reinstate declined requests.

Updated over a week ago

When a tenant submits a maintenance request through the Tenancy App or Fixflo, it appears as Requested Maintenance in Re-Leased. The Maintenance Hub tile on your Dashboard turns red and shows a count of pending requests.

Navigating to Requests

In the Maintenance Hub, new maintenance requests appear in a dedicated section at the top. From here:

  • Title link — opens the full task details, including photos and documents from the tenant. You can approve or decline the request here.

  • Property link — opens a preview of the related property.

  • Requested By link — opens the tenant's contact details (for app requests) or the Fixflo task.

Actions for Requested Maintenance

  • Approve — creates a new Maintenance Task with Incomplete status, ready for management.

  • Decline — sets the task to Declined and moves it to the Declined tab.

  • Decline and Email Tenant — declines the request and sends an email to the tenant via the Tenancy App.

Declined Requests

Declined requests move to the Declined tab in the Maintenance Hub. You can reinstate a declined request here, which reverts its status to Requested.
