If a sync error between Re-Leased and Xero persists after attempting to fix it in either system, you can unlink the problematic record to stop it from affecting future syncs. Unlinked records are not deleted β they remain available to relink and retry when you're ready.
Note: Only unlink records when necessary. Unlinked records will not appear in financial reports until the issue is resolved and the record is relinked.
How to Unlink a Record
Access the sync error via the flag in the Quick Links Menu and click on the validation message, or click Message History to view the record with the error.
Note the ID from the error message.
Navigate to the Sync Results page. Set the filter to Linked or Show all, then enter the ID in the search bar.
Select the record and click Unlink Records. Re-Leased will exclude this record from future syncs.

Viewing Unlinked Records
Apply the Unlinked filter on the Sync Results page to see all records excluded from syncing.
How to Relink a Record
First, resolve the original sync error. Without doing this, the record will fail again.
On the Sync Results page with the Unlinked filter applied, find the record.
Select it and click Link Records.
