Managing Maintenance Tasks

How to manage maintenance tasks in Re-Leased — access the Task Details page, edit task status, add work orders and quotes, make tasks recurring, and complete tasks with cost confirmation and post-completion invoicing options.

The Task Details page is where you edit, update, and complete individual maintenance tasks. You can access it from the Maintenance Hub, a Property or Contact's Tasks tab, or a Dashboard calendar reminder.


Accessing a Maintenance Task

  • Maintenance Hub — click the task title, or use Contextual Menu [...] > View Task.

  • Property or Contact — navigate to the Tasks tab and click the task name or View Task.

  • Dashboard Calendar — click View Task on a maintenance reminder.


Editing Task Details

From the Task Details page you can:

  1. Change the task status using the dropdown — options are Incomplete, Complete, and Cancelled.

  2. Add Quote Requests and Work Orders via the Add dropdown.

  3. Make the task recurring via Contextual Menu [...] > Make recurring.

  4. Add comments for external use (visible in the Tenant App) or internal use only.

  5. Add key details to facilitate contractor access.

  6. Attach invoices — create new or add existing ones.

  7. Create a Work Order or request a quote from suppliers.

  8. Attach documents and images.


Completing a Task

  1. Select Complete from the Status dropdown.

  2. Confirm the completion date and cost in the popup, including GST/VAT/Tax details if applicable.

  3. Add any final comments if needed.

  4. Click Complete Task.

After completing a task, options for invoicing and communications with the owner and primary tenancy contact become available.
