Raising Invoices for Future Rent

How to raise invoices for future rent in Re-Leased — use Generate Next Rent Invoice for sequential invoices or Generate One-off Rent Invoice for specific date ranges. Manually generated invoices must be emailed separately.

Updated over a week ago

Rent invoices in Re-Leased are tied to specific rental periods, which is essential for accurate arrears management and reporting. They can only be created from the Rent section of a tenancy — not from the general income invoices area.

Rent invoices are usually generated automatically based on the Rent Template settings and company invoice generation rules.

Raising Future Rent Invoices Manually

  1. Navigate to the tenancy and select Rent & Outgoings.

  2. Click Generate Next Rent Invoice to create the next invoice in sequence.

  3. Use Generate One-off Rent Invoice if you need an invoice for a specific date range. See Raising Invoices for Past Rent.

  4. Preview the invoice details before confirming.

Note: Invoices generated manually are not sent automatically. To email an invoice, click Email PDF after generation, or use Bulk Actions to send multiple at once.
